The Heart is the main environment prop designed for the world of Dark River. It is the centre of the imaginary culture, world and narrative we were designing, hence it is where we started to build the world.
In order to get organic looking shapes, we have used procedural scattering in Blender, which allowed us to iterate tens if not hundres of shapes for the roots, shell and the seed of the Heart.
